This policy describes how Life Recorded collects, uses, and protects your personal data, in compliance with Brazil's LGPD (General Data Protection Law).
What data we collect
We collect your name, email, and photo (via Google sign-in), profile data you provide (bio, profession, age, phone), and the entries you log in the app: mood, meals, exercise, journal, weight, and height.
How we protect your data
All data travels encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) and is stored encrypted. Sensitive content, like your journal and bio, is encrypted with a key that's uniquely yours — not even the system's administrators can access that content.
Data sharing
We don't sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Your data is visible only to you.
Your rights (LGPD)
You have the right to access, correct, export, and delete all your data at any time, directly from the profile page, without needing to submit a prior request.
Data retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. Deleting your account permanently removes all associated data, including the encryption key that protects your sensitive content.
Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and analytics tools (Vercel Analytics, Google Analytics) only with your explicit consent, which can be revoked at any time.
WhatsApp notifications
We only send WhatsApp notifications if you provide your phone number and explicitly opt in on your profile.
Requests from authorities
In the event of a lawful request from government authorities, following due legal process, we may provide account metadata — never the encrypted content of your journal or bio, which remains inaccessible even to us.
